Romania Missions

First Baptist Church of Newnan has had a partnership with a Baptist Church in Galati, Romania for 10 years.  We send a team there once a year to serve in various ministries in the city of Galati and the surrounding villages.

We work with street children and a Boy's Home, Betesda.  We also make visits to a children's hospital and when possible we visit the orphanages.

We also have a Backyard Bible clubs in various villages and out of the church in Galati.  We have taken doctors and nurses and hosted medical clinics to aid in common illnesses.  This summer we sent one of our mission staff personnel as a missionary for six weeks.  If you are interested in assisting with the needs of Galati, Romania, contact the Missions Office at 770-304-3131 or email us at missions@fbcnewnan.org.
