Children
It is a joy and a privilege to have the opportunity to
share the love of Christ with children and their families at First Baptist
Church of Newnan. It is our mission to partner with parents in equipping and
encouraging them to build strong families of faith as together, we
effectively teach children about Christ’s love. Matthew 19:14 “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Students
Student Ministry at First Baptist strives to be the hands and feet of Jesus by equipping, discipling,
training and providing opportunities for students to lead the church in
reaching the lost. Our students actively participate in local and international
mission projects.

Vision of Praise and Proclamation
The
Music Ministry of First Baptist exists to
- Exalt the Savior (John 4:19-24)
- Encourage
the body of Christ
(Colossians 3:16) and to
- Proclaim
God’s love to the world through the medium of song (Matthew 28:19)
Prayer
Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It
is the place where
pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and
supplication is made. Prayer is
the place of admitting our need, of
adopting humility, and claiming
dependence upon God. Prayer is the
needful practice of the Christian.
Prayer is the exercise of faith
and hope. Prayer is the privilege of
touching the heart of the Father
through His Son, Jesus Christ our
Lord.
