Romania Pictures 2010
The Lord allowed us so many tremendous and blessed opportunities to share His love and His Word throughout our days in Galati, Romania! We played games, sang songs in Romanian and English and shared Bible Stories and Bible Crafts. We ministered to children of the church, Holy Trinity, as well as children living in extreme poverty and children in local parks. We even had the amazing opportunity to minister to 1000+ children in the gypsy village, Toflea. The children filled the church with their songs and listened as we shared the story of Jesus's life and the plan of salvation with them! What a blessing we experienced as we were allowed to be like Jesus!!

First Baptist Church of Newnan began its partnership with the Holy Trinity Baptist Church in Galati, Romania in 1992. Shortly after the fall of Communism, a small group from First Baptist Church of Newnan journeyed to the eastern side of Romania to share the love of Jesus with hundreds of children. As God broke the hearts of the first group to hear the call "to go and make disciples", since 1992, many trips have been made with many, many hearts being broken that the gospel must be spread. Relationships have been formed that have changed American and Romanian lives!
Ministries in Romania have included construction teams, medical teams and many evangelism and children's ministry teams! Abandoned, orphaned children as well as children of Holy Trinity Church have heard and experienced the gospel through Bible Clubs. Orphanages (Bethesda House, Girls House and the Day Center) have been built with donations and volunteer labor. Gypsy children have heard the gospel through summer camps as well as the gospel shared through Bible Clubs held in local parks and nearby villages.
