Whether you are curious or seriously seeking a "church home,” you are very much welcome at
First Baptist Church of Newnan. The steps below help you know what to expect on Sundays, but there are plenty of
weekday programs if you want to visit then.
Steps to Visiting on Sunday
1. Choose a Worship Service
Worship is at 8:30 and
10:50
a.m., with some exceptions on special holidays. Each service includes the same
sermon. On your first visit, it’s best to arrive about 15 minutes early, or 30 minutes early if you need time to find your
children’s classroom locations.
Children’s Worship coincide with the 10:50
a.m. services.
Children in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
grades will be participating in Children’s Worship in our Historic
Sanctuary. Parents, please pick them up directly after the Service.

3. Find a Place for Yourself and Your Kids
Greeters are ready to answer your questions before
and between each service. Just look for them
at each church door. They can help you
choose a Sunday School class that’s right for you. If you have
children, stop by the children’s welcome booth to find out about classes and locations.
Jr. high and Sr. high
students meet at 9:30 a.m. in the
Warehouse for Sunday School.
4. Celebrate Through Worship
Ushers will welcome you into the worship center and give you a
Order of Worship outlining the service. Ushers can help you find a seat. Toward the beginning of the service, everyone is invited to stand and greet one another with handshakes. You will not be singled out as a visitor. Biblical teaching, a blend of musical styles, and
giving, are key components of
worship at FBC of Newnan.
