Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8
I’ve moved to Portland, OR, to begin the MA TESOL program at Multnomah U. Because of some horrifying things that have happened, I’ve been wondering if God is warning me to get out of this city, and/or telling me this program isn’t His path. Please pray for absolute clarity from the Lord. Pray that God will clearly reveal and confirm my path both to me and those close to me, beyond doubt! Pray that God will open the right doors—with housing, with employment, etc., and close every door that should be closed. Pray that if God wants me to leave Portland, every door for living arrangements will close here, and if He wants to close the door to Multnomah, the college won’t let me continue. Pray that God will still help me finish THIS semester strong, with excellent grades, before maybe moving on. Thanks again for praying.Seth
