The Deacons and Staff are calling for 40 days of prayer and fasting for the Pastor Search Committee and the candidate under consideration to be the next Senior Pastor of FBC Newnan.
We are asking you to do three things:
- Commit to pray and fast daily for our PSC members and the candidate currently under consideration to serve as our next senior pastor and be prepared as a church to receive him if called. Read what Jesus said when He encouraged us “as you fast and pray” in Matthew 6: https://newnan.me/fasting
- Be aware that a written prayer is provided to this pastoral candidate each day for the next 40 days from a Deacon or Staff member – even though they do not know his name – for the Lord’s will to be accomplished.
- Be committed to the mission of FBC Newnan as we meet on Sundays and Wednesdays to fulfill our mission and God’s commission of Making Maturing Multiplying Followers of Jesus!
