What we believe

The Scriptures

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the final authority for all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

God

We believe in one God, who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, equal in power and glory. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

  • God the Father: Creator of all things, who is sovereign over His creation and actively involved in its care. (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 104)
  • God the Son (Jesus Christ): Fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, was resurrected, and will return to judge the world. (John 1:1-3, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
  • God the Holy Spirit: Indwells believers, convicts of sin, and empowers the church for mission and ministry. (John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8)

Man

We believe man is created in the image of God but fell into sin, separating all humanity from God. Only through faith in Jesus Christ can man be restored. (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23)

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It involves repentance, justification, sanctification, and glorification. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:1)

  • Repentance: Turning from sin and trusting Christ. (Mark 1:15)
  • Justification: Being declared righteous through Christ’s sacrifice. (Romans 5:9)
  • Sanctification: The process of being made holy through the Holy Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 4:3)
  • Glorification: The final state of salvation, where believers are fully conformed to the image of Christ. (Romans 8:30)

The Church

We believe the church is the body of Christ, consisting of all believers, called to worship, serve, and proclaim the gospel. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 Peter 2:9)

  • The Ordinances: The church observes two ordinances—baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
  • Baptism: A public declaration of faith in Christ, symbolized by immersion in water. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4)
  • The Lord’s Supper: A memorial of Christ’s sacrifice, observed by believers until He returns. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

The Kingdom

We believe the Kingdom of God is His rule over His creation, realized through Christ’s reign and fully consummated at His return. (Matthew 6:10; Revelation 11:15)

Last Things

We believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the eternal state of the righteous and the wicked. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15)

  • The righteous: Eternal life in the presence of God. (Revelation 21:1-4)
  • The wicked: Eternal separation from God. (Matthew 25:46)

Evangelism & Missions

We believe it is the duty of every Christian to share the gospel and make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)

Family

We believe God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society, composed of persons related by marriage, blood, or adoption. (Genesis 2:24; Ephesians 6:1-4)
