Cake Camp

Taste and see that the Lord is good!

Join us for our 5th year of Cake Camp at FBC Newnan’s School of the Arts! During this week, students will take pre-baked cakes and learn decorating techniques starting with the basics and ending with a two-tier final show piece! We are happy to offer an advanced class in the afternoon, as well as a full day option. You can see all three options below..

MORNING SESSION : 9 AM – 12 PM

Cost is $235 (Includes all materials and grocery costs)

For ages 10 and above

Skills Taught:

•    How to level, stack, fill and ice cakes with a smooth and textured finish! They will also learn fondant.
•    Reminder that we will be decorating pre-baked cakes.
•    We will be working towards a 2-Tier Final cake that they present in front of all the parents on the last day!

AFTERNOON SESSION  (ADVANCED CLASS) : 1PM – 4 PM

Cost is $255 (Includes all materials and grocery costs)
For ages 10 and above
Located at First Baptist Church of Newnan
Additional skills taught:
   -We will be working towards a larger 2-teir cake than in the first-session, and also have a sculptural element.

Prerequisites: Must be either a returning student or 12 or older

FULL DAY  9 AM – 4 PM

Cost is $455 (Includes all materials and grocery costs)

Prerequisites: None.  If a new student wants to do the full day, that is great!  The first session preps for the second.

Details:

• Students stay from 9 AM- 4 PM for both sessions and do two separate projects.
• Students bring their own lunch and get to enjoy the hour break in-between sessions with friends.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Student Cancellation: Full refund for cancellation 30 or more days prior. 75% refund for cancellation 8-29 days prior. No refund for cancellation less than 8 days prior.  All refunds provided will be minus the financial transaction fees that Square Payments collected.

Accommodations: This class is designed for students who are able to follow instructions and work independently, however we do not want anyone to feel left out.  If a student requires services for special physical, emotional or learning needs, we offer the option for an adult to attend and assist them as needed.  This option is available for the morning session.
