Day # 4-Discernment and Protection
Pray that each of our pastors will counsel and teach with discernment through the wise use of Scripture and faith in God’s power to work. Pray that he will be protected from the effects of sinful or negative attitudes that he encounters as he counsels.
James 1:5-6 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God—who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly—and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
John 17:15 I am not praying that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
